The Bible Family Tree - Bible Genealogy Database represents a labor of love project that took several years. The developer of the database, recognized how few Christians he talked to that had a real knowledge of Bible characters and the customs and cultures that existed at their point of time in the Bible.

Too often, we make assumptions or inferences about the bible and its characters because we try to view them in our own time knowledge and experiences. Bible Family Tree helps to correct those false assumptions and inferences by detailing in biographical and character studies from the actual Biblical events and from the secular leaders and customs existing at the time of the biblical characters so that they are properly understood based on the practices, usage, and customs of their own time in history.

The Bible is an awesome work of GOD. There is a tremendous amount of information contained in the Holy Scriptures, from the creation of Genesis to the end things of Revelation. If you are using Family Tree Maker software:

For every individual Biblical Character, you will see basic information such as approximate birth and death dates, spouse(s), Child(ren), where and how they died (if known), medical conditions, i.e. Leprosy, blind, lame, etc... (if known), Hebrew meaning of their name, contemporaries, descended from, Bible cross reference and a short biography of the individual and their story (if known). In addition, you will be able to see maps if applicable, timelines, and Biblical cities and their history and numerous countries and who the founders were descended from, such as Shem, Ham, and Japheth.

If you are using another genealogy software package:

Most or all of the information above is available in the GEDCOM file. The features will be dependent on the functionality of your genealogy software. What information is presented about Ancient History? Mesopotamia is the cradle of mankind.
